This generation is less interested in a hierarchical leadership. They prefer a collaborative and cross-functional workspace. PankajBansal, co-founder and ceo, PeopleStrong, is of the opinion that this generation makes for great leaders in new-age setups where innovation is the key and there is a more fluid and non-hierarchical corporate culture.
“This generation is not impressed by your societal stature. It’s a credit card generation that wants things today but will pay for it tomorrow. That is one of the reasons you will find them joining start-ups or firms that are not well known,” he adds.
